Lesson Overview

8.1 Identifying Internal Resistance: Internal resistance shows up when part of you wants to move forward but another part feels scared, unworthy, or uncertain. You learn to recognize resistance as hesitation, procrastination, negative self-talk, or a sudden loss of motivation right when progress is possible. Instead of shaming yourself, you become curious about what fear is trying to protect you from—failure, judgment, change, or discomfort. You treat resistance as information, not a barrier, and take small steps that show your brain the path ahead is safe. Every step you take while feeling unsure builds courage. With practice, resistance becomes weaker and confidence becomes stronger, showing that your desire to grow is more powerful than the fear trying to hold you still.
