13.31 – Writing a Clear Text, Email, or Message: Digital communication reflects your professionalism and emotional tone even without voice or facial expression. Always start messages with a polite greeting and end with a clear signature or thank-you. Keep your sentences short, direct, and free of slang that might cause misunderstanding. Double-check spelling, names, and dates before sending to prevent confusion. If you’re making a request, include context and deadlines so the recipient knows what to expect. Reading your message out loud before sending helps you catch awkward phrasing or emotional undertones. Avoid writing when angry—pause until you can speak from clarity, not frustration. Structure messages like mini-conversations: greeting, purpose, request, and closing. When people receive thoughtful and organized texts, they respond faster and more respectfully. Over time, strong digital communication enhances your credibility and efficiency. The quality of your written words often determines how confidently people perceive your professionalism and intent.
