13.88 – Setting Limits With Someone Who Keeps Calling or Messaging: Constant communication without boundaries can drain focus and peace. Start by communicating expectations clearly—“I prefer texting once a day unless it’s urgent.” Stay polite but consistent. If messages continue excessively, stop responding immediately; silence enforces limits better than argument. Repeating boundaries calmly reminds others of your comfort zone. Use phone settings or scheduling tools to protect quiet hours. Explain that boundaries allow balance, not rejection. People who respect you will adapt. Avoid guilt—managing time and energy is responsible, not rude. Over time, firm digital limits strengthen both relationships and mental clarity. When you control your availability, stress decreases and self-respect rises. Healthy communication thrives within structure, and structure begins with courage to say, “Enough for now.”
