Lesson Overview

20.2 – Understanding It’s Okay to Seek Support: Understanding that it’s okay to seek support reshapes how you view strength and independence. Many people believe asking for help means failure, but true maturity comes from knowing when collaboration makes life healthier. Everyone needs guidance, whether it’s emotional encouragement or practical assistance with tasks. Reaching out doesn’t mean you can’t handle things—it means you value progress over pride. When you involve others, you invite fresh perspectives that make hard situations manageable. Support connects people, builds trust, and teaches teamwork. Even the most capable individuals rely on networks of care to succeed. Learning to accept help shows courage and humility, not weakness. Once you experience how relief follows asking, fear fades and gratitude grows. Seeking help strengthens—not reduces—your sense of independence because it allows growth without isolation or hidden exhaustion.
