Lesson Overview

32.6 – Creating a Calm and Comfortable Sleep Space: Creating a calm and comfortable sleep space turns your bedroom into a place of rest, not distraction. Keep your room dark, cool, and quiet—conditions that naturally promote better sleep. Invest in supportive bedding and reduce clutter that can cause mental noise. Avoid doing work, watching TV, or eating in bed to strengthen the association between your room and rest. Soft lighting and clean air help the body relax faster. Scents like lavender or vanilla can also create a calming atmosphere. A peaceful environment tells your mind it’s safe to let go of the day’s tension. Designing your space intentionally transforms bedtime into a restorative experience that nourishes both body and mind.
