Lesson Overview

33.1 – Understanding What Triggers Stress: Understanding what triggers stress allows you to take control before it controls you. Stress triggers are the events, thoughts, or environments that cause your body and mind to feel tense or overwhelmed. They can be obvious—like tight deadlines or conflicts—or subtle, such as clutter, noise, or constant comparison. Recognizing them early helps you prepare and respond calmly instead of reacting impulsively. Each person’s triggers are different, so reflection is key. Keep notes about what situations make your heart race or your patience fade. Awareness turns hidden stressors into visible targets for change. Once identified, you can adjust your routines, mindset, or surroundings to create balance. Knowing your triggers transforms stress from something that happens to you into something you can manage thoughtfully and confidently.
