Avoid comparing yourself to others—focus on progress relative to your past self. Awareness of strengths allows you to use them effectively, while understanding weaknesses directs your learning. Honest reflection prevents denial or discouragement. It promotes authenticity and maturity, showing that true independence includes self-awareness. When you see yourself clearly, you can create realistic goals and approach life’s challenges with both confidence and compassion.
