Lesson Overview

14.5 – Recognizing Fixed vs. Flexible Time Commitments: Not every part of your day has the same level of flexibility. Fixed commitments, like work shifts or therapy sessions, happen at specific times and must be honored. Flexible commitments, such as cleaning or studying, can be moved around when life changes. Understanding the difference helps you avoid stress and double-booking. When you label activities as fixed or flexible, your schedule becomes more realistic and adaptable. People often overfill their days because they treat every item as equally rigid. Building awareness of time categories allows for breathing room and reflection. It’s about being prepared, not perfect. Balancing structure with adaptability is the secret to lasting productivity. When you know which plans can shift, setbacks stop feeling like failures—they become manageable adjustments within your system of order.
