6.15 – Recognizing Signs of Overmedication or Drug Interactions: Knowing the warning signs of too much medication can prevent serious harm. Symptoms like dizziness, confusion, unusual fatigue, or unsteady walking may signal overload. When two drugs interact, effects can double or cancel each other, leaving your body confused. Keep an updated medication list and share it with every doctor or pharmacist you see. If you start feeling “off,” check whether a new drug was added or a dose changed. Report concerning patterns quickly—don’t wait for them to worsen. Staying observant doesn’t mean living in fear; it means paying attention with purpose. Overmedication is often reversible when caught early. Recording symptoms and timing helps professionals pinpoint the cause. Protecting your health begins with awareness and quick communication. Your body speaks through signals—listening saves time, stress, and safety.
