Lesson Overview

43.2 – Recognizing Unsafe Situations Early: Recognizing unsafe situations early helps you avoid danger before it begins. Early awareness gives you time to act calmly instead of reacting in panic. Warning signs can include people following too closely, unfamiliar vehicles waiting near you, or arguments escalating nearby. Trusting your senses helps you read subtle changes in body language or tone. Avoid isolated areas, dim lighting, or situations where your exit options are limited. Observing from a distance before approaching helps assess risk without exposing yourself. When something feels uncomfortable, it’s always better to leave than to wait for proof. Awareness turns uncertainty into confidence by giving you control of your choices. Recognizing risk early lets you prevent conflict, stay safe, and remain in command of your surroundings.
