2.2 – Planning a Basic Weekly Meal Schedule: Building a weekly meal schedule is like setting up a map for your week so you never feel lost about what to eat. Start by listing meals that fit your time, budget, and taste preferences, then assign them to specific days. Include quick breakfasts, portable lunches, and dinners that balance nutrition with convenience. Rotating a few favorite recipes keeps variety without overwhelming you. Scheduling leftovers mid-week helps reduce cooking fatigue while using what you already have. Writing it out on paper or a phone app makes it visual and easy to follow. A schedule also supports mental wellness by giving each day structure and routine. It removes uncertainty, which lowers anxiety around food choices. When you plan intentionally, you save money, waste less, and make eating a more mindful experience.
