Lesson Overview

15.73 – Practicing Safe Problem Solving After Past Control or Abuse: If past trauma makes conflict or repair feel unsafe, rebuilding trust in yourself takes care and pacing. Start with small, low-pressure fixes to regain confidence. Remind yourself that mistakes now don’t equal danger. Keep calming tools nearby—music, grounding phrases, or support numbers. Choose respectful company when handling challenges. Healing means separating present safety from past threat. Over time, practicing self-compassion transforms fear into empowerment. Each problem solved gently becomes proof that control today is yours, and calm action replaces old panic with peaceful strength rooted in self-respect.
