36.4 – Keeping Track of Sleep and Hydration: Keeping track of sleep and hydration strengthens your body’s ability to function smoothly and stay resilient. Adults generally need seven to nine hours of quality rest per night, while proper hydration keeps organs and focus strong. Notice patterns—trouble waking up, frequent yawning, or headaches may signal sleep deprivation or dehydration. Use a journal or app to log hours slept and water intake. Limit caffeine and electronics before bed to improve rest. Carry a refillable water bottle as a reminder throughout the day. Consistent tracking creates accountability and self-discipline, helping you catch small imbalances before they become health issues. Prioritizing rest and hydration builds physical and mental endurance for daily living.
