Lesson Overview

2.6 – Cooking with Limited Tools or Space: Cooking in small spaces builds resourcefulness and creativity. Even with one burner or a microwave, you can prepare balanced meals by focusing on simple methods like steaming, sautéing, or mixing cold dishes. Choose multipurpose tools—a skillet, cutting board, and one pot can handle most recipes. Pre-cut ingredients and one-pan meals simplify prep and cleanup. Organize your space so every item has a clear purpose, avoiding clutter that slows you down. Frozen vegetables, canned proteins, and instant grains save both time and space. Learning to adapt recipes teaches problem-solving and independence. When you cook efficiently, you prove that good food doesn’t need fancy equipment. It just needs thoughtful planning, patience, and confidence in your growing skills.
