Lesson Overview

1.131 – Recognizing When You’re Past the Crisis Threshold: The crisis threshold is that invisible line between feeling pressured and feeling unsafe. Learn your body’s early cues—dizziness, racing speech, tunnel vision—and treat them as stop signs, not challenges. Once you cross the line, thinking narrows and impulse control drops. Keeping a personal “scale” from one to ten helps measure intensity and guide action. At level seven or higher, switch from problem-solving to safety mode immediately. Text a contact, step outside, or engage a sensory reset. Crossing thresholds isn’t failure; it’s feedback that boundaries were reached. With awareness, you can retreat before collapse. Monitoring levels daily turns emotion tracking into emotional protection. Recognizing limits ensures response stays proactive, preserving both dignity and safety even under high pressure.
