Lesson Overview

1.53 – What to Do When You’re Being Threatened: When threats appear—online, at school, or at home—the most important move is to take them seriously without panicking. Tell a trusted adult or authority immediately; documentation protects you. Screenshot messages, save texts, or write down details. Avoid direct confrontation, especially if the person is unpredictable. Stay in groups or visible areas whenever possible. Breathe slowly and remind yourself that fear’s job is to keep you alert, not paralyze you. You’re not weak for being scared—you’re smart for preparing. If the threat continues, involve law enforcement or counselors who know how to handle these cases safely. Safety is never overreacting; it’s self-respect in action. The moment you decide your well-being matters more than pride, you take back power from the threat trying to silence you.
