Lesson Overview

1.12 – Planning for School Days After a Bad Night: Waking up after a hard night can feel like dragging heavy clouds into your morning, but planning ahead helps you move through the day with steadiness. Before bed, lay out clothes, pack your bag, and place breakfast or a snack within reach so the morning asks less of you. Text a trusted friend or teacher if you might need extra patience tomorrow — they can quietly check in without drawing attention. Create a playlist that lifts your energy when you feel drained and listen as you get ready; sound can reset your emotions faster than thought. If exhaustion hits at school, use short breaks, water, or deep breaths between classes to refocus. Remind yourself that showing up counts more than being perfect. Bad nights don’t erase your worth or your ability to learn. Each morning you rise anyway, you prove that recovery is already happening.
