Lesson Overview

1.23 – When You Feel Like You’re Going to Explode: The feeling of exploding comes when emotion fills every inch of your body with nowhere to go. Before it bursts, give it direction. Step outside, stomp your feet, or shout into a pillow—let your body release energy without hurting anything. Breathe deeply until your shoulders drop. Picture your emotions as steam leaving a teapot; if you let it out slowly, it won’t blow the lid off. Avoid people who add fuel to your fire and focus on cooling the temperature inside you. Keep ice cubes or cold water nearby—it shocks your body back into awareness. Once calm, write down what triggered you and decide if it was worth your energy. Learning to release pressure safely keeps your dignity intact and your relationships stronger. True strength is not about never exploding—it’s knowing how to cool down before damage happens.
