1.36 – When You Hate the Way You Feel But Don’t Know Why: Sometimes emotions hit hard without a clear reason, and that confusion can feel worse than the sadness itself. Start by accepting that feelings don’t always explain themselves right away. Instead of fighting them, name what’s present—angry, empty, scared, or tired. Naming gives you power. Try breathing deeply and reminding yourself that you don’t need all the answers to start calming down. Walk, draw, or listen to something soothing to move the feeling through your body. Over time, patterns will appear that help you understand triggers. Don’t judge yourself for not knowing the “why” immediately; even adults struggle with that. The goal isn’t to solve every emotion—it’s to stay gentle with yourself until understanding arrives. Patience with your emotions turns confusion into curiosity, and curiosity is where healing begins.
