Lesson Overview

1.6 – Managing Rage Before It Turns Violent: Rage builds like heat under pressure—predictable, measurable, and redirectable. It’s not evil; it’s energy seeking release without guidance. Learning to manage it means catching the rise before eruption. Notice the physical surge—fists tightening, voice lifting, chest pounding—and pair it with deliberate movement such as walking, exhaling, or gripping something safe. Releasing adrenaline through motion prevents destructive explosions. Naming the emotion aloud also shifts it from reaction to reflection. Violence happens when awareness disappears, so the mission is to keep awareness alive. Understanding your rage triggers doesn’t excuse them; it disarms them. With practice, you’ll feel power without losing control, strength without harm. Mastery over rage creates space for choice where chaos once ruled. That’s not suppression—it’s intelligent redirection.
