Lesson Overview

1.45 – When You Want to Run and Never Come Back: The urge to run often hides a wish for peace, not disappearance. Before acting, breathe deeply and identify what you’re truly escaping—pain, rejection, or fear. Write or speak those feelings aloud; naming them lowers their power. Make a safe list of people or places you can contact before leaving. Leaving impulsively can create more danger than relief. Instead, take a walk, call someone, or sit somewhere quiet until emotion cools. Running to safety is different from running from life—plan wisely. Every time you stay, regroup, and face problems directly, you teach yourself endurance. You’re not trapped; you’re learning to choose stability over escape.
