Eat something textured, notice temperature changes, breathe through your nose slowly. These small acts tell your body safety has returned. Reality will fade back in waves. This disconnection doesn’t mean you’re “losing it”—it’s proof your brain is protecting you. The more compassion you bring to the moment, the faster balance returns. Realness rebuilds through small confirmations that you’re safe, alive, and capable of feeling steady again.
