Lesson Overview

1.10 – Coping When You Have to Move Again: Frequent moves disrupt stability, making it hard to feel settled or connected. It’s normal to carry both excitement and exhaustion. Start by identifying small things that make any space feel like yours—a photo, a scent, a song—so every move includes familiarity. Stay in touch with old friends through messages or calls to keep continuity. When anxiety rises, remind yourself that home can be built through routine, not just location. Create short-term goals to ground your focus and celebrate small wins. Allow yourself to mourn what you’re leaving behind; grief makes room for new beginnings. Each move teaches flexibility, and with time, you realize you carry stability inside you. Moving again doesn’t erase your story—it adds new chapters that strengthen resilience and broaden your world.
