Lesson Overview

1.35 – When You’re Mad at Yourself and Everyone Else: Anger turned outward and inward can feel explosive and lonely. It’s often sadness wearing armor. Start by naming where your anger points—what’s truly yours versus others’. Physical release like running or deep breathing helps your body cool before thinking clearly. Once calmer, write or talk about the root hurt beneath the fury. Forgive yourself for mistakes without excusing them; compassion breaks cycles of rage. Setting boundaries stops resentment from spreading to innocent people. When emotions overwhelm, step back until perspective returns. Over time, anger becomes information, not destruction. Learning to manage it teaches that power doesn’t come from yelling—it comes from directing energy toward healing.
