Practice entering this space during peaceful moments so it’s ready during panic. Pair visualization with deep breathing for stronger grounding. Add affirmations like “I am safe, I belong, I endure.” This inner sanctuary becomes portable security when the outer world feels hostile. The more vividly you practice it, the faster it works. Over time, it becomes muscle memory, helping you stay calm anywhere. Your mind can hold both the storm and the shelter—you choose which to visit longer.
