Lesson Overview

10.2 – The Difference Between Loneliness and Being Alone: Being alone is a physical state, while loneliness is an emotional one. You can be alone and feel peaceful, or be with people and feel lonely inside. Being alone can help you rest, think, and recharge, but loneliness can drain your energy and confidence. Knowing the difference helps you respond better to what your heart needs. Alone time can be healing when it’s chosen, but loneliness hurts when it feels forced. One grows from independence; the other grows from disconnection. Understanding both helps you build a healthier relationship with solitude. It reminds you that comfort with yourself is key to feeling whole. When you learn to enjoy being alone, loneliness loses some of its power.
