7.4 – Recognizing Early Warning Signs of Panic: Panic rarely arrives out of nowhere; your body often whispers before it screams. You might notice tightness in your chest, a racing heart, or a dizzy feeling. Maybe your thoughts start racing or you feel trapped and restless. Recognizing these early signs gives you a chance to act before panic grows stronger. The earlier you notice, the easier it is to calm your system down. You can practice noticing these clues through journaling or mindfulness. Each time you catch an early sign, you’re training your awareness like a muscle. This helps you feel more in control, not because panic disappears, but because you respond faster. The more you practice, the more confident you become in managing your reactions.
