Lesson Overview

29.4 – Fear of Failure and Its Hidden Costs: Many people avoid trying new things because they fear failing, but that fear often costs more than failure itself. It can stop us from discovering our strengths, building confidence, or finding joy in progress. When we focus too much on avoiding mistakes, we miss the lessons that come from them. Failure is actually how people grow and improve. The fear of it can come from pressure to be perfect or fear of judgment from others. When we learn to see failure as feedback, it loses its power to control us. We can remind ourselves that even the most successful people failed many times before succeeding. Every setback teaches something valuable about persistence and courage. Facing this fear helps us take healthy risks and open doors we once thought were closed.
