1.784 – Pocket Pause (Tap and Breathe): The pocket pause uses physical touch to remind your body to slow down. Lightly tap your fingers together or touch your pocket while taking one slow breath. This tiny cue brings your focus back to now. It’s discreet, fast, and surprisingly powerful. Doing it throughout the day teaches your brain to associate touch with calm. The more you practice, the quicker it becomes automatic. You’ll notice you start doing it before stress builds. Each pause strengthens awareness and control. The pocket pause proves you don’t need quiet or time—you just need intention. Calm fits in your hand if you choose it.
