Course overview
Lesson Overview

9.10 – Being a Supportive Listener to Others: Listening well is one of the best gifts you can offer. It means focusing fully, not fixing or judging. When you listen, you create a safe space where others feel seen and understood. You can nod, reflect back feelings, and ask gentle questions like “Do you want advice or just a listener?” This builds trust and emotional connection. True listening also teaches empathy—you learn how others experience the world. When you support others with care, they’re more likely to return that support when you need it. Good listening strengthens communities one conversation at a time.
