Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.188 – Use of Anchors (object/routine) to Stop Reactivity: Anchors are reminders that pull you back to balance fast. Choose an object like a bracelet, stone, or pen to symbolize calm. When anger rises, touch or hold it while taking three breaths. Repeat a grounding phrase silently, such as “Steady now.” Pair anchors with small routines like stretching or deep breathing. Keep them in places where tension often appears—desk, car, or pocket. Rotate objects occasionally to keep the effect fresh. Over time, your brain links that anchor to safety and control. Anchors make calm something you can literally hold onto.
