4.9 – Regret and Missed Opportunities: Sometimes the hardest regrets are about the chances we never took. Maybe it was a dream job, a relationship, or a trip we didn’t take out of fear. Those “what if” moments can haunt us because they represent paths we’ll never walk. Yet, missed opportunities also reveal what we truly care about. They remind us that comfort often costs experience. Instead of focusing on what didn’t happen, we can use regret as a compass for what to pursue next. Courage grows each time we act despite uncertainty. Every missed opportunity teaches us to notice the next open door faster. Regret fades as we start saying yes to the life unfolding right now. The more we choose action over hesitation, the lighter our heart becomes.
