Speak or write without judging your words. When time ends, take one deep breath and stop. Reflect on what part of the vent matters most. Turn that piece into an action step or boundary. Destroy or delete the rest if it no longer serves you. The time limit prevents rumination and escalation. Structured venting clears emotion while keeping control.
