Visualization works because your brain reacts to images as if they were real. It lowers heart rate and brings comfort to the body. You can create your own mental scenes that inspire peace or confidence. With practice, you can call these images up quickly during hard moments. They remind you that calm is always inside you, waiting to be accessed. Visualization turns imagination into a healing skill.
