Lesson Overview

6.21 – Panic Attacks vs. Generalized Anxiety: Panic attacks are intense bursts of fear that come suddenly, while generalized anxiety is a steady, ongoing worry. A panic attack feels like your body is out of control—your heart races, breathing quickens, and you might feel dizzy or detached. Generalized anxiety is more like a constant hum of worry about everyday things. Both come from the same system but feel very different. Understanding which one you’re experiencing helps you manage it better. Panic needs grounding right away, while generalized anxiety benefits from long-term habits. Breathing slowly and reminding yourself that panic will pass helps the moment fade. Knowledge is power when facing these feelings head-on.
