🧘🏽 Emotional Regulation & Coping Skills *coming soon *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

1.2 – Recognizing the Non-Linear Nature of Grief: Grief doesn’t follow straight lines or tidy stages; it loops, fades, and returns when you least expect it. One day you might feel strong, and the next you might break down over something small. That doesn’t mean you’re going backward—it means you’re human. Emotions move in cycles, and each wave carries a chance to understand yourself better. The ups and downs are part of how your heart learns to adapt to loss. Knowing this can stop you from feeling like you’re failing at healing. Grief can’t be scheduled or rushed, only experienced with kindness toward yourself. Over time, the waves calm, even if they never fully disappear. What matters is learning to float through them instead of fighting the tide.
