Lesson Overview

6.10 – Naming Emotions Out Loud in Safe Spaces: Saying your feelings out loud makes them real and easier to manage. It moves emotions from the inside world of thought to the outside world of sound. This simple act helps your brain process and release tension. You can do it alone, in therapy, or with someone you trust. Using calm, descriptive language like “I feel anxious” instead of “I’m falling apart” helps regulate emotions faster. Hearing your own voice express feelings builds self-trust and awareness. Over time, speaking emotions becomes natural instead of scary. Naming what you feel is the first step toward healing it.
