Course overview
Lesson Overview

10.5 – Planning for High-Stress Times in Advance: Anticipating stress gives you the power to prepare before emotions rise. You can create backup plans for exams, work deadlines, or difficult conversations. This might include pre-scheduled breaks, calming playlists, or supportive texts. Planning ahead lowers fear and builds confidence because you know you have tools waiting. It also keeps your brain from reacting on impulse when tension hits. Stress feels smaller when you’ve already made a plan for it. Preparing doesn’t mean expecting failure—it means expecting to handle challenges well. Each successful preparation strengthens trust in your own resilience.
