Lesson Overview

4.7 – Letting Go of the Need to “Fix” Emotions: Trying to fix or push away emotions often makes them stronger. Letting go means allowing feelings to exist without forcing them to change. You can notice sadness, anger, or worry and say, “It’s okay to feel this right now.” This kindness toward yourself calms your nervous system. Emotions are like waves—they rise, peak, and fall naturally when you don’t fight them. The more you practice letting go, the less power difficult feelings have. Acceptance doesn’t mean you like the feeling; it means you choose peace over struggle. Over time, your body learns that emotions can pass safely. That trust turns fear into patience and tension into calm.
