Sometimes envy or insecurity hides behind criticism. Celebrate your own progress proudly even if they can’t yet join in. Make it clear that mutual respect is non-negotiable in your relationship. If the behavior repeats, reconsider emotional boundaries to protect your self-worth. Standing tall in confidence teaches both love and accountability.
