Lesson Overview

1.112 – The Name-It-Then-Normalize Method: Start by naming the feeling with plain words. Say, “This is anger rising in my chest.” Normalize it with, “Anger happens to everyone sometimes.” Remind yourself that feelings pass with support. Check your breathing and slow your exhale. Loosen your hands and drop your shoulders. Choose one respectful action you can take now. Speak one calm line or take a brief pause. Notice the feeling begin to soften. Naming plus normalizing restores steady control.
