7.3 – Identifying Your Anger Style: Everyone expresses anger differently—some explode outward, some hold it in, and some turn it against themselves. Learning your anger style helps you understand your triggers and coping needs. If you lash out, you might need pause tools. If you withdraw, you might need gentle expression. No style is “bad,” but unbalanced anger can harm relationships or health. Noticing your patterns is the first step toward change. You can ask yourself, “How do I show anger?” and “What happens afterward?” Awareness lets you create new, healthier responses. When you know your anger style, you gain control over your emotions instead of being controlled by them.
