🧘🏽 Emotional Regulation & Coping Skills *coming soon *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

2.9 – The Link Between Thoughts and Triggers: Triggers often work through your thoughts, not just your surroundings. A small comment can spiral into “I’m not good enough,” which feeds emotional pain. The mind quickly turns one thought into many. By catching the first one, you stop the chain reaction. Writing or saying thoughts aloud can expose which ones are distorted or exaggerated. Once you see them, you can question their truth. Replacing harsh thoughts with realistic ones softens emotional intensity. Your thoughts can either fuel or calm your emotions. Training your mind to stay balanced is one of the strongest coping skills you can build.
