Course overview
Lesson Overview

2.5 – The Role of Sleep, Hunger, and Fatigue in Reactivity: When you’re tired, hungry, or sleep-deprived, even small stressors can feel huge. Your brain struggles to manage emotions, and patience runs thin. Poor rest or skipped meals can make you more reactive and less able to think clearly. Taking care of your body is emotional care too. A balanced meal, hydration, and regular sleep reset your system. If you notice more irritability, check your basic needs first. Meeting those needs doesn’t erase stress, but it makes it easier to handle. Small routines like bedtime rituals or snack breaks build emotional stability. When your body feels supported, your mind can stay calm.
