Lesson Overview

6.31 – Anxiety and the Inner Critic: Everyone has an inner voice that judges and comments on what they do. For people with anxiety, that voice can become overly harsh. It might tell you that you’re not good enough or that others will reject you. This inner critic can keep you stuck in self-doubt and fear. Learning to recognize that voice helps you separate it from reality. You can replace harsh self-talk with supportive messages that build strength instead of shame. Writing down your inner critic’s words and responding with kindness takes away its power. Over time, that voice grows quieter as your confidence grows louder. Treating yourself like a friend is one of the best ways to ease anxiety and grow inner peace.
