Lesson Overview

30.25 – Breathing Techniques During Flashbacks: When panic rises, breath is the quickest bridge back to calm. During a flashback, your body forgets to breathe deeply, trapping you in the past. Slow, steady inhales and long exhales signal safety to your brain. Try counting your breaths or placing a hand on your chest to feel the rhythm. Each breath reminds your body that the danger has passed. Oxygen helps clear racing thoughts and calm shaking muscles. The more you practice outside of stress, the easier it becomes in crisis. Breathing doesn’t erase memories, but it keeps them from controlling you. Calm breath equals reclaimed power.
