🧘🏽 Emotional Regulation & Coping Skills *coming soon *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

2.2 – Emotional vs. Environmental Triggers: Emotional triggers come from feelings or thoughts inside you, while environmental triggers come from things around you. A harsh comment might spark guilt, and a loud space might cause tension. Some triggers mix both—like feeling anxious in crowds or sad during certain songs. When you separate internal and external triggers, you can choose different ways to handle them. Deep breathing may calm emotional ones, while a change of setting may ease environmental ones. Awareness turns confusion into clarity. It helps you meet each moment with a plan instead of panic. Over time, you’ll notice triggers lose their power as you gain confidence in managing both kinds.
