3.38 – How Loss Impacts Self-Esteem: Loss can make you doubt your worth, especially if you feel like you should’ve done more or seen signs earlier. Guilt and regret can quietly chip away at confidence. You may question your decisions or compare yourself to others who seem to “move on.” But self-esteem grows again when you practice forgiveness toward yourself. Remind yourself that being human means being imperfect. You did the best you could with what you knew. Loss doesn’t define who you are—it reveals how deeply you can love and care. Rebuilding confidence takes patience and compassion. Each act of self-kindness rebuilds your sense of value and strength.
