Lesson Overview

11.17 – When Impulsivity Becomes Self-Sabotage: Sometimes impulsivity turns into patterns that harm your own progress. You might quit too soon, start conflicts, or avoid success out of fear or frustration. Self-sabotage often hides behind excuses or emotional reactions. Recognizing this pattern helps you separate who you are from what you do. You’re not your impulses—you’re the one learning to guide them. Each moment you pause, you reclaim part of your strength. Writing down your goals can expose how impulsivity blocks them. Replace self-blame with curiosity, asking what need the impulse tried to meet. Over time, compassion and structure rebuild confidence. Self-control grows when you choose healing over habits that hold you back.
