🧘🏽 Emotional Regulation & Coping Skills *coming soon *coming soon
Course overview
Lesson Overview

30.6 – The “Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn” Reactions: These four survival reactions show how your body protects you when you feel unsafe. “Fight” makes you push back or get angry to regain power. “Flight” urges you to escape or avoid the threat. “Freeze” locks your body in place, feeling stuck or numb. “Fawn” tries to please or calm others to stay safe. None of these are wrong—they are all smart responses your body learned to survive. Sometimes, they keep repeating even after danger ends. Recognizing your main pattern helps you respond with care instead of shame. You can train your body to notice these reactions and guide it toward calm. Over time, survival can shift into stability and strength.
